About the author
Joe Quirke was born in 1924 in County Dublin, Ireland, a very different world to that of today. His account of his life is both fascinating and amusing but it is his enterprise and big-hearted generosity of spirit which shines through. Joe is a kind man who has a lovely ability to be able to connect with people from all walks of life. He loves people and has a lust for life. Never one to give up, he challenged himself to write this memoir following the death of his wife of 60 years in 2008 This booklet and his rich life is
an example to many. |
